Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Begin your next adventure as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic school setting near the beautiful Emerald Coast. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in various educational environments. Depending on selected caseload, you'll either be based at a single school or provide itinerant services between two campuses, working with students ranging from Pre-K through young adults (K-22).
Key Qualifications:
Valid Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License (active and in good standing) Strongly prefer prior experience working in K-12 or other school-based settings Flexibility to serve either a single campus or work itinerantly as assigned Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing promptly (JLA badge will be issued after clearance; prior AHCA Clearinghouse prints may be valid) Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for assigned students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to ensure student success Deliver direct therapy services and regularly monitor student progress Participate actively in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development Enjoy the rewarding experience of supporting a diverse caseload while working alongside a passionate educational team.
