Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in North Port, FL. This is a contract role requiring onsite presence to support students' communication development and related needs. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with prior school-based SLP experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address student goals. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.
Qualifications:
Valid SLP credentials: CCC or CFY preferred. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings. Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children. Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
