Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on the beautiful Southeast Florida Coast! Full-time and part-time assignments are available for the 2026-2027 school year, working with vibrant student communities across 1-2 school sites depending on your placement. Dive into dynamic, collaborative school settings—ranging from K-8 campuses to high schools—with each location offering a mix of general education, ASD, EBD, and VE/InD units. These roles are ideal for SLPs (CCC required) eager to serve diverse student populations and make a real impact from August 5, 2026 through June 1, 2027. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current, active SLP license (Florida) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in K-12 school environments strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Skills in evaluating and treating a variety of communication disorders Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work on-site, independently and as part of a supportive team Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing (fingerprinting required) What you'll be doing: Provide therapeutic interventions to students (VPK-12), tailored to specific caseloads Create, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct thorough speech/language assessments and document progress Collaborate closely with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across general and specialized classroom settings Support students' communication and social development These positions offer a consistent weekday schedule (35 hours/week for full-time), with assignments available at several new and established campuses.
