Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across Southeast Florida's coast, working on-site within vibrant, collaborative educational environments. Multiple opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC preferred), as well as qualified SLPAs with local supervision, offering both full-time and part-time schedules across K-12 settings. Starting August 5, 2026, and running through June 1, 2027, these roles provide diverse experience with age groups from preschool through high school. You will be assigned to 1-2 school sites, with assignments tailored to your experience and preference. Caseloads range from early intervention with PK students to supporting ASD, EBD, and InD units at the middle and high school levels. Sites include brand-new schools seeking strong, independent clinicians and campuses with a robust team of SLPs.
Qualifications:
Active, valid SLP license required for Florida SLP-CCC preferred; will consider SLPAs under approved supervision Experience with K-12 caseloads and specialized units (ASD, EBD, VE, InD) is a strong asset Fingerprinting required (with potential reciprocity through DOH) Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skillsResponsibilities:
Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services for assigned caseloads Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative planning with multi-disciplinary teams Deliver therapy and support within ASD, VE, EBD, and InD units as needed Engage with families and staff to facilitate generalization of skills Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required by district guidelines You'll thrive in a supportive environment with opportunities to learn from other SLPs, all while helping students reach their greatest potential.
