As a therapy specialist in this renowned, award-winning hospital, you will collaborate with a dedicated team in a Level 2 Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke Center environment, gaining hands-on exposure to acute care best practices and a variety of patient needs. Schedule/Hours:
Day Shift Only (No On Call) 8-hour shifts
Qualifications:
Current BLS certification required Licensed Occupational Therapist Strong evaluation and treatment skills Acute care experience preferred but not essential Adaptable to fast-paced, high-acuity settings Capable of functioning independently and collaboratively
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver targeted treatments for a diverse patient panel Manage a caseload of approximately 8 evaluations daily Utilize portable therapy equipment in acute care settings Document timely and accurately within Meditech & Redoc systems Provide patient-centered care in alignment with best clinical practices Collaborate with a skilled team of 46 OT professionals
