In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a focus on pediatrics and early intervention. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including early intervention strategies for pediatric clients. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote communication skills. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to coordinate care plans. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and session notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies to support ongoing improvement at home. Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to ensure the highest quality of care. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the respective region or country. Prior school experience or pediatric therapy background is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations and early intervention programs. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech and swallowing functions. Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and interpreting medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
