Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal Speech Language Pathologist role supporting students' communication and learning needs in a friendly, welcoming school community near the beautiful Santa Rosa Beach area. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the chance to work with diverse student populations from early childhood through age 22, potentially serving in a single school or across two nearby campuses—final assignment and caseload will be determined during the interview. Your expertise will be instrumental as you collaborate with teams to assess, plan, and implement effective speech-language interventions designed for student success. Engage in a professional, supportive setting that values your contributions and encourages ongoing development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active FL DOH Provisional SLP License Strongly prefer prior school-based experience Solid familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation Passion for contributing to student growth in both individual and group settings Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' speech and language abilities and determine individualized goals and supports Provide direct therapy services, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication intervention Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families, contributing to IEP meetings and ongoing case management Maintain thorough, timely records as required by school policies and state standards Travel as needed between schools if assigned as itinerant (limited to two nearby campuses)
Additional Details:
Full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week Immediate start for 8/11/26 to 6/1/27 academic year Candidates must submit to fingerprinting (AHCA Clearinghouse prints may expedite onboarding); JLA badge required Ready to use your clinical skills and passion for student success in a dynamic school setting?
