Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist (1099 Contractor) Key Pediatric Therapy | Sarasota/Venice, FL Part-Time | Approximately 10 Hours Per Week | Flexible Schedule Key Pediatric Therapy is a growing pediatric private practice serving families throughout Sarasota, Venice, Nokomis, and surrounding communities. We provide speech, language, literacy, and feeding therapy in children's natural environments, including homes, schools, camps, and community settings. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours, meaningful relationships with families, and the opportunity to grow with a supportive private practice. What You'll Do Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner Develop treatment plans tailored to each child's needs Deliver therapy in homes, schools, and community settings Maintain a positive, family-centered approach to care What We Offer Flexible schedule with approximately 10 hours per week to start Ability to build your caseload based on your availability Competitive contractor compensation Administrative support for scheduling and billing Mentorship and training provided Opportunities for professional growth as the practice expands Collaborative and supportive work environment Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Active Florida Speech Language Pathology license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with children and families Preferred Experience Early intervention Articulation and phonological disorders Language delays and disorders Literacy and reading intervention Feeding therapy (not required, training available) About Key Pediatric Therapy At Key Pediatric Therapy, we believe therapy is most effective when it fits naturally into a family's daily life.
