This is a full-time contract position serving students in a supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive academically. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students Diagnose speech and language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators Participate in IEP meetings, staffing conferences, and progress reviews Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records Implement evidence‑based intervention strategies aligned with school goals Support students across a range of age groups and communication needs Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license (Department of Health) Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) certification or eligibility ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous school-based experience preferred (not required) Ability to pass state and district background checks Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) eligibility Professional support throughout the contract Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school setting Why Blazer Jobs?
