Behavior Change, Inc:
Hope Center for Behavior Change is a local, BIPOC-owned multidisciplinary practice providing rehabilitative services to individuals between the ages of 12 months to adulthood. The practice is owned by a dually licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years in the field and specializes in
ADHD, ODD & ASD
Interventions. Hope Center provides early intervention services, ABA therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, social skills groups. We are looking to add compassionate members to our small but growing Speech department that are excited to work in a collaborative environment with other disciplines. We are located in West Palm Beach, Tampa, Port Charlotte & Winter Haven, FL but have growing opportunities within the company for additional work opportunities. Looking for full-time applicants but will consider part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation and treatment of speech and language impairments Assessment and intervention for expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language needs Support for executive functioning and cognitivecommunication skills Dysphagia screening and swallowingrelated care when appropriate Assessment, implementation, and training for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) Collaboration with BCBAs and ABA teams to integrate communication goals into behavior plans Development of functional, behavioraligned communication strategies to support daily living skills Parent and caregiver training to promote carryover across environments
Qualifications:
Master's degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology Current state licensure in SpeechLanguage Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) from ASHA Preferred experience working with neurologically based disorders Strong planning, organization, writing, and timemanagement skills Ability to communicate effectively with families, interdisciplinary professionals, and colleagues Experience working with children or clients with special needs, including autism, and other developmental delays
