A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Overview About Us Specialized Care Pediatrics PPEC is a pediatric center providing skilled nursing, therapies, education, and socialization for medically complex children from birth through age 21. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to helping children reach their highest potential in a supportive and family-centered environment. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients. Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals. Provide direct speech and language therapy services. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, educators, and families. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and family education. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License. Pediatric experience required. Experience with feeding and swallowing disorders preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Current CPR certification. Benefits Competitive salary.
