THE CLUB HEALTH AND REHABILITATION
is a 68bed skilled nursing facility with a supportive family environment. Our compassionate rehab teams are led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Point Click Care and Optima Therapy for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. Position Description The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for facilitating the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility. Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP): Creating, administering and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients. Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement. Educating patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings. Communicating with the dietary department in regard to rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions. Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP): Current Speech Language Pathologist License in Florida. Current CPR certification. At least 3 years of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
