Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity providing essential speech services within a supportive school environment near Trenton, FL. This role is ideal for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) as well as dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) eager to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution (required) Current state license or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is an asset Superior interpersonal and communication skills Ability to balance independent initiative with effective collaboration State Board-approved SLP license required
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed evaluations for children with speech and language challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Facilitate engaging therapy sessions aimed at progressing speech and language abilities Track and document student progress with accuracy and attention to detail Collaborate closely with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support Empower and educate families in ways that promote ongoing success outside therapy sessions You'll have access to an advisory team staffed by experienced SLPs for guidance and professional development.
