Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity as a part-time speech-language pathologist, providing vital support to students onsite in a dynamic educational setting. Work with 7th through 12th grade learners for the upcoming academic year, beginning in August. This contract position is perfect for professionals who are passionate about fostering communication skills and making a meaningful difference during the 2026/2027 school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Florida Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Experience in a school-based SLP environment is highly valued Demonstrated ability to work effectively with adolescent and teenage populations Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Commitment to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students in grades 7-12 Assess students' communication needs using standardized tools and observations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress Maintain timely, compliant documentation of sessions, assessments, and outcomes Contribute positively to a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment
