Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year! This dynamic, onsite role begins in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, offering the chance to empower students with critical communication skills in a collaborative educational environment. Your expertise will make a genuine impact as you assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans, working closely with students, staff, and families to support academic and personal growth.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid state speech-language pathology licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred Understanding of IEP development and implementation Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to engage and motivate students in individual and group settings Essential responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for IEP development and progress monitoring Deliver therapy tailored to student goals, needs, and service minutes Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal requirements Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators for optimal student support Participate in meetings and professional development as needed Embrace the growth and satisfaction that comes with guiding students toward their communication goals in a supportive school setting.
