Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting student communication and learning for the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time role, you'll deliver essential evaluation, intervention, and collaboration services in a school setting near Athens, Georgia. You'll have a direct impact on students' academic and personal growth, working alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments for students with communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy aligned with student requirements Accurately maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance records Engage in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP development and discussions Partner closely with teachers, administrators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families Offer consultation and actionable recommendations to support classroom success Track student growth and modify intervention strategies as necessary
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia SLP license and/or relevant educator certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred (Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply) Previous school-based experience preferred; pediatric clinical backgrounds warmly considered Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills This school-based contract offers the chance to positively influence student outcomes in a collaborative and professional environment.
