13Weeks Shift & Schedule:
Day Shift - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 5x8 Hour Shifts Weekend Rotation Required Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (4 preferred) Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an acute care hospital assignment in Canton, GA. This role supports patients across multiple acute care units including ICU, neurological, respiratory, dysphagia, and general medical/surgical populations. Both local and travel candidates are being considered for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs Provide dysphagia evaluations and therapeutic interventions Support acute care patients including ICU, stroke/neuro, respiratory compromise, and cognitive cases Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation teams, and case managers Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and communication strategies Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards Requirements Minimum 15-18 months of recent Speech Therapy experience required Active Georgia SLP License required CCC-SLP certification required BLS certification required Acute care hospital experience strongly preferredMBS/FEES
