Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and educational growth! This full-time school-based SLP assignment, located close to Buford, GA, begins July 28th, 2026, and runs through May 28th, 2027. You'll have the chance to work across various schools within a supportive district, providing essential speech-language services and collaborating closely with educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
Active GA SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist) GA Educator Certificate required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Previous experience in school settings is a plus, especially servicing diverse student populations Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and effective communication abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, utilizing evidence-based interventions Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student success Complete accurate documentation, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings Travel between assigned schools as needed Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative educational environment
