Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting. This rewarding, onsite contract position serves one elementary school (PreK-5) and one to two secondary schools, all conveniently located within a short distance of each other. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) in Georgia Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a full caseload independently and efficiently Commitment to fostering positive interactions with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population across elementary and secondary grade levels Assess and identify students' speech, language, and communication challenges through comprehensive evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation for evaluations, therapy sessions, and ongoing progress Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and participation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of your caseload Enjoy the advantages of a full-time, school-based schedule (eight hours per day), allowing you to work during regular school hours and collaborate with dedicated professionals.
