Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary and middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. Work onsite with a diverse caseload of 45 to 50 students, providing crucial speech and language services that make an immediate and lasting difference. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and educational teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The focus will be on nurturing communication skills that empower students to excel both academically and socially, supporting their growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Current Georgia Speech Language Pathologist License. Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting (elementary or middle school preferred). Proficiency in assessment, development, and execution of IEPs. Strong communication and organization skills. Compassion and adaptability when working with students, teachers, and caregivers.Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students on caseload. Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to student needs. Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups, primarily onsite. Collaborate with families and school staff, participating in IEP meetings and progress monitoring. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state and district guidelines. Engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities.
