Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services within a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to support elementary and middle school students for the upcoming academic year, beginning August 4, 2026, and concluding May 26, 2027. As the sole SLP at your assigned school site, you'll be integral to student growth and communication development.
What You'll Bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current GA PSC credential (required) Valid professional state license and activeASHA CCC
certification Prior school-based SLP experience preferred Completion of all required credentialing, including fingerprints and drug screening Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered careRole Highlights:
Full-time hours throughout the academic year Provide therapy, conduct assessments, and develop IEPs for a diverse K-8 caseload (final caseload determined by district needs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to foster student progress Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings Maintain accurate and timely documentation Work exclusively on-site, engaging directly with students and staff Contribute to a positive, supportive school environment This is a dynamic position ideal for a passionate, credentialed SLP committed to making a difference in school communities.
