Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by providing vital support to elementary school students as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is based near Dalton, GA and offers a supportive environment for professionals eager to foster communication skills in young learners. Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Georgia (SLP, GA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, specifically within school settings Previous experience working with elementary age children highly preferred Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of elementary school students Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and interventions Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize support for each child Serve as an advocate for students, contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs) and team meetings Benefits Designed forYou:
