Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging educational environment located near Dalton, GA. Whether you have your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are working toward your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise will make a significant impact.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Georgia SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of graduate coursework and eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience working in school settings preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver direct therapy in group and individual sessions Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' unique needs Maintain accurate documentation as required by state and school guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student success Provide resources and guidance to school staff and families to enhance follow-through This contract role offers a focused, supportive atmosphere where you can grow your professional skills and truly make a difference.
