Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Completion of a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Possession of or eligibility for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates welcome Valid state licensure or ability to obtain state certification for school-based SLP practice in Georgia Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic educational environments Effective communicator with students, educators, parents, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and related therapy interventions Deliver engaging therapy sessions—both one-on-one and in small group settings—addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs Monitor, document, and report on student progress, contributing to IEP meetings as a collaborative member Provide coaching and resources to teachers and families to support carryover of skills in the classroom and at home Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships in a school community, refine clinical skills, and truly influence students' communication success.
