Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language support to students for the full 2026/2027 academic year. This position offers the chance to make a genuine difference while working onsite within school settings near Decatur, GA. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required to start; both needed eventually) Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or fully credentialed Speech-Language Associates (SLAs) with GAPSC certification Previous school-based experience is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Ability to adapt to a variety of assignments and caseloads as school needs are finalized
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services for students across assigned schools, focusing on communication, articulation, language, voice, and fluency Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans to meet IEP goals Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and administrators to ensure optimal student support Provide progress updates, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Engage families in the therapy process and provide strategies for classroom and at-home success This contract offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) from July 28, 2026, through May 26, 2027, all onsite.
