Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to support students in an elementary or middle school setting near Douglasville, GA. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across one school site while working closely with educators and student support staff. The assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and is full-time.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Georgia PSC credential (new requirement) Georgia state professional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Experience working in a school-based setting with elementary or middle school populations Ability to complete required fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start date Strong communication and organizational skills Dedication to fostering student growth and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning Support inclusive practices within the general education environment
