Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact supporting students this upcoming school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity begins in August and extends through October, with the potential for additional details forthcoming. You'll be working alongside passionate professionals, using your speech therapy expertise to empower young learners in their communication and academic goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Experience supporting K-12 students in school settings is strongly preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities with interdisciplinary teams Passion for helping children advance their communication skills and confidence
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a range of needs Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs and progress Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student strengths and areas for growth Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to each student's success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices
