Job Description

Make an immediate impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students' communication needs throughout the school year. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to work in collaboration with dedicated educators and families, making a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys. Located near Evans, GA, the ideal applicant will provide evidence-based speech and language services on-site and help foster students' growth in diverse educational settings.

Key Qualifications:

Active Speech Language Pathology license in Georgia GaPSC Educator Certification required Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Proficiency with evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation within a school-based environment Experience participating in IEP meetings and working with special education teams Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students based on their IEP goals Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and school policies Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services This exciting school-based role runs through the end of May 2027, for 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. While on-site is preferred, additional options may be discussed for the right candidate.
