Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering speech and language services to students in a supportive educational setting. This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students spanning various pediatric ages. Your expertise will foster communication growth and create positive outcomes for children who benefit from your skills.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Current Georgia Teaching Certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience with pediatric populations in a healthcare, school, or teletherapy setting Proficiency in conducting speech evaluations, writing detailed reports, and Medicaid billing documentation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Previous school-based or teletherapy SLP experience is highly desirablePrimary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group speech therapy services within school guidelines Complete comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for assigned caseload Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and multidisciplinary conferences as needed Prepare clear, thorough, and timely reports, including Medicaid billing paperwork Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to maximize student progress Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements This contract role offers a fulfilling chance to advance your career working with children in a collaborative school environment, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy techniques as needed.
