Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract position supporting students with communication needs in a welcoming school environment. This opportunity, conveniently located near Gray, GA, is perfect for speech-language pathologists who are passionate about making a real difference throughout the school year. With two positions available, you'll collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality speech and language services.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted School-based experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload and develop individualized plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to K-12 students Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support educational and social development Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
