Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners! A contract position is available supporting preschool-aged children (ages 3-5), providing essential speech-language services in an engaging educational environment. The role centers around a single site, requiring your presence each week to deliver direct assessments and interventions to a caseload of approximately 30-35 students. Ideal candidates bring expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, whether as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) advancing towards their CCC or as an SLP fully credentialed with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This position invites passionate professionals ready to start as soon as possible, eager to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to provide the highest quality support for every child.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, especially with preschool-aged children Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services and model strategies for educators and families Maintain thorough documentation compliant with school and state requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal student outcomes
