Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills and growth in a vibrant school-based setting. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their goals, providing direct intervention, assessments, and consultative services across various age groups and abilities. Qualifications & Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Valid state licensure (or the ability to obtain prior to the start date) Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to create engaging sessions and individualized therapy plans Key Responsibilities Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for eligible students Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Offer consultative services and support generalization of communication strategies within the school environment Thrive in a supportive, dynamic environment where you can exercise creativity and expertise to touch lives daily.
