Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact by supporting students' communication and language development in a dynamic school-based setting! This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), eager to work in an engaging academic environment near Ringgold, GA.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain before start date Previous experience working in school settings preferred, but open to new graduates Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech or language delays and disorders Deliver targeted therapy sessions (individual and group) Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support classroom success Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team efforts for student support Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines This contract role offers a chance to build valuable professional relationships while making a direct difference in children's lives.
