Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to join a supportive school team for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to gain valuable school-based experience while receiving mentorship and supervision from experienced professionals. The SLP-CFY will support students with speech and language needs and collaborate with staff and families to help students succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders. Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success. Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development. Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines. Receive ongoing mentorship and supervision to support completion of Clinical Fellowship requirements.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Eligible for GA state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply. Previous school or pediatric experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Passion for working with students and supporting their communication development.
