A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based speech-language pathology role. This role allows you to focus your expertise in a supportive school environment, working standard school hours on a contract basis. Qualifications:

Active SLP license in Georgia. Experience in a school-based setting. Eligible to work independently and be able to supervise. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt approaches to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic SLP services. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Work as a part of a multidisciplinary team to support student development. Maintain thorough records and prepare progress reports as required. Consult with teachers, families, and staff to provide strategies and resources for student success. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning.
