Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact supporting elementary and middle school students in a dynamic educational environment near Smyrna, GA. This full-time, on-site contract position focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services for the 2026-2027 school year, with placements across one dedicated school site. You'll collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality communication interventions and help students reach their full potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hold a current Georgia PSC credential (new requirement) Maintain an active, professional license and certification through ASHA (CCC required) Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in school settings, supporting students at elementary and middle school levels Must be able to complete time-sensitive credentialing steps, including fingerprinting and a drug screen SLPAs not considered for this role Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving caseloads and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in both elementary and middle school environments Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student success Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district standards Adapt interventions and utilize evidenced-based practices tailored to each student's unique profile Enjoy the benefits of working in a professional and supportive school atmosphere.
