Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing support across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract opportunity is located just north of Atlanta, with needs in a variety of vibrant communities. Flexible full-time schedules are available (40 hours/week), with part-time options considered for qualified candidates. As part of a collaborative environment, you will never practice in isolation—experienced SLPs and SLPAs provide ongoing support within every school. Medicaid billing is not required, allowing you to focus more fully on student growth and engagement.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligibility for state SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Experience or interest in working in healthcare, pediatric, and/or school environments Teletherapy experience is valued, as are strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs Assess, develop, and carry out individualized intervention plans Collaborate closely with teachers, fellow SLPs, SLPAs, staff, and families to promote positive outcomes Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Participate in team meetings and professional development Embrace the support and camaraderie of a dynamic SLP team while working in diverse educational settings near Atlanta and the surrounding areas, including Decatur, Athens, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Norcross, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, Sugar Hill, Buford, Lilburn, Grayson, Hoschton, and Duluth.
