Job Description

Unified Therapy Services is hiring a part-time Occupational or Speech Therapist for Feeding Therapy This position is part-time and will provide feeding therapy to our pediatric patients at our outpatient clinic in Dubuque, IA. Our team consists of occupational and physical therapists and speech-language pathologists. Our therapists pride themselves on their skill sets and ongoing certifications and training. We address each patient' individual needs with private treatment rooms and a large gym. We can assess and treat everyone that walks through our doors. SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with feeding delays or difficulties. Feeding delays and difficulties may include but are not limited to a child's ability to suck, chew, swallow, refusal to eat, aversions to food, or limited intake Provide therapy to help patients achieve feeding goals Conduct screening and assessment activities with children with feeding difficulties Evaluates patient and determines treatment plan using approved evaluation documents Prepares necessary documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and logs in timely manner according to regulations. Collaborates with other members of the rehabilitation team. Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient, and family. Minimum Education and/or Experience Masters or Doctorate in Occupational or Speech Therapy Feeding therapy experience preferred Current Occupational or Speech Therapy license
