Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available within a school setting in Bonners Ferry, ID for the 2026-2027 academic year. Serving students from pre-kindergarten through age 21, this contract role offers a unique chance to work across all grade levels in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose communicative disorders in pediatric populations. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans targeting articulation and language disorders. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions focused on remediation. Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy objectives within the school curriculum. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.Qualifications:
Valid Idaho Speech Language Pathologist License and Endorsement required. Experience or certification in pediatric speech-language pathology, including working with school-aged children. Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and therapeutic interventions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. SLPA candidates must have relevant healthcare or school-based certification.Position Details:
Contract duration: August 27, 2026, through June 4, 2027.Workdays:
Full-time, approximately 144 days within the school year.Schedule:
