Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital in-person role serving students with high needs in a dynamic K-12 environment for the 2026-2027 school year. Three speech-language pathologists are needed to provide essential services across elementary, middle, and high school settings, following the retirement of the current SLP. These positions offer the opportunity to make a significant impact where in-person care is the priority—teletherapy or hybrid models are not being considered. Caseloads are targeted at a manageable size, typically between 50-60 students, ensuring you can deliver high-quality, individualized support to those who need it most. Ideal candidates will bring clinical expertise and compassion, working closely with school teams to foster student growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Assignments depend on your experience and age-group preference, with varying start times that allow some flexibility.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision Experience serving pediatric and school-based populations, K-12 preferred Strong commitment to fully in-person therapy; no teletherapy or hybrid services Collaborative, professional communicator comfortable adapting to diverse caseloads and settings Ability to develop and implement IEPs, work with multidisciplinary teams, and engage families in student progress

Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned students, maintaining thorough documentation Conduct assessments and collaborate on IEPs Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student success Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
