Job Description

Category Schools•SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact across K-12 settings, serving a vibrant student population in need of dedicated in-person services as the current SLP moves toward retirement. You'll be joining an environment that values hands-on support and collaboration, with open roles available at elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Strong interpersonal skills working with students, teachers, and families Must be able to provide fully in-person services (no teletherapy or hybrid options) Commitment to supporting students with high needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and create plans of care for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Maintain manageable caseloads (targeted between 50-60 students) Deliver therapy services individually and in group settings based on student needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings Document student progress and communicate outcomes effectively Depending on placement, work schedules follow:
Elementary:
7:30 AM•4:00
PM Middle:
7:45 AM•4:00
PM High:
