Job Description
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Holds, or eligible for, licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY Experience or strong interest in providing speech-language pathology services in educational settings Proficiency with school-aged student populations, including those with diverse communication needs Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Team-oriented with an enthusiasm for collaboration Eagerness to participate in ongoing learning and process improvement projectsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education plans Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to advance student communication progress Engage in regular 1:1 check-ins, monthly team meetings, and roundtable discussions for mutual support and growth Participate in orientation (starting August 3) and annual performance reviews Utilize readily available equipment and testing materials Contribute to and benefit from our buddy program designed for new hires Connect in real-time with SLP colleagues across the region through our innovative intranet Take advantage of ongoing professional development courses to enhance school-based SLP skills Imagine growing your career in a supportive setting with easy access to supervisors, comprehensive orientation, collaboration opportunities, and input into practice improvements.
