Job Description

Step into a dynamic onsite opportunity as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, serving students in a vibrant educational setting near Algonquin, IL. This full-time, contract position spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering 37.5 hours each week with a variety of caseloads determined prior to your start. You'll empower diverse learners to achieve their communication goals and play a key role alongside supportive colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Illinois State Licensure (IDFPR) required ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Endorsement Bilingual proficiency and experience working with multilingual learners Open to first-year SLPs (CFs are encouraged to apply) SLP-Assistants may be considered only if specified Capacity to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs Strong collaboration and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver direct therapy, both individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP guidelines Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for student success Maintain accurate progress records and contribute to IEP development and reviews Foster a positive, inclusive therapy environment, advocating for bilingual and multicultural learners
