Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a highly rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an engaging and collaborative setting. This on-site position spans the 2026-2027 school year, with dates to be confirmed. You'll be instrumental in empowering students of varied backgrounds and abilities, fostering their communication skills and overall development throughout the academic year. Orientation for new hires runs from August 12th to 14th, ensuring you are fully prepared and welcomed into a supportive environment. With four openings available, this role provides a fulfilling experience working closely with students across multiple grades and needs.
Required Qualifications:
Active Illinois SLP license (screenshot required at application) Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (screenshot required at application) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but will consider strong Clinical Fellows (CF) Previous experience in school-based settings highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Passion for working with students with diverse learning profiles
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of K-12 students (specifics to be assigned) Conduct assessments, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement student-centered goals Monitor and record student progress, adapting strategies as needed Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
