Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Aurora, IL Job Details Contract $36.40 - $66.40 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Career development plan Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity invites dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists—whether you're experienced or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year—to make a meaningful difference with children and adolescents.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active or eligible Illinois SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; SLP-CFYs encouraged to apply Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is advantageous Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) focused on student speech/language goals Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately according to school guidelines Deliver engaging direct and indirect therapy sessions and participate in department meetings Stay current with best practices and continue professional growth within the field This rewarding opportunity sits within a supportive school environment and offers the chance to positively impact students' lives every day.
