Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide telespeech services within a school setting. This role requires delivering specialized therapy remotely, ensuring students receive high-quality speech and language support through virtual platforms.
Location:
Aurora, IL Schedule:
2 hours per week (telepractice)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct remote speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions using telespeech technology Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and assessment results Monitor and document student progress consistently to adapt therapy approaches Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support communication goals Maintain compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines, educational policies, and ethical standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience providing telespeech services in educational settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for virtual therapy delivery Ability to adapt therapy techniques for an online environment and engage students effectively Benefits of this contract include the opportunity to impact student communication skills while working within a flexible, part-time remote schedule.
