This role is an excellent chance to provide meaningful support in an early childhood educational environment for a maternity leave coverage from November 16 to January 28, with schedule hours running from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current Illinois SLP license and PEL required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience or enthusiasm for working with early childhood-aged students Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to deliver both individual and group interventions effectively Organizational skills for maintaining records and data collection

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in early childhood programs Provide direct therapy and support to address speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to implement IEP goals Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute to case management discussions Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements
