Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Opportunity | Calumet City, IL We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting in Calumet City, IL for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time or part time opportunity working with a diverse K-8 caseload in a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Approximately 45 students (K-8) Full-time school-based schedule (Monday-Friday; hours aligned with school day) W2 contract position through a staffing agency Competitive, negotiable pay based on experience Benefits available
Supportive Staff and Full or Part Time Opportunities Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8 students per IEP goals Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and updates Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (and/or PEL as required) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school team and make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success across grades K-8.
