School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Champaign, Illinois ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Champaign, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $36.40 - $66.40 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students for the upcoming school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCCs. This is a unique opportunity to work near Champaign, IL, where your expertise will help children succeed academically and socially. With eight openings—including both part-time and full-time options—schedules can be tailored to match your desired hours, and multiple caseloads are available. For those seeking a full-time schedule, we're flexible in combining different assignments to secure 1 FTE.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Knowledge of a variety of communication disorders and school-age intervention strategies Strong organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills Comfortable managing diverse caseloads and working with different age groups
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations Provide direct therapy services and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
