Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure for practicing SLP in Illinois Previous experience with school-aged children strongly preferred Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills Ability to adjust approaches for diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades 2-5 Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions (pull-out and push-in models) Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member Support smooth case management during the leave period This role offers a structured weekday schedule from 8:00am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute, unpaid lunch break.
